Nostalgia… This cover from January 29th 1938 records the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet, history records it was January 26th.  However the HMS Supply arrived on the 18th of January, the Alexander, Scarborough and Friendship arrived on the 19th and the remaining 7 ships arrived on the 20th.  I have also read elsewhere that they arrived over a six week period between December 21st 1787 and early February 1788.

This is a cross stitch conversion of an original ‘iconic’ cover design from the Australian Women’s Weekly.
