Hand dyed stranded cotton created for the Field Journal Club to complete the vintage inspired stitcheries designed by Katie Dawson for their Field Journal Quilt.

Named for Maria Sibylla Merian was a German-born Swiss naturalist and scientific illustrator. She was one of the earliest European naturalists to observe insects directly.
