Luzzu 929.654

The luzzu is a uniquely Maltese boat and is one of the symbols of Malta even featuring on the reverse side of the older series of Maltese lira coins.  Primarily fishing boats, they are sturdy and reliable in almost any weather, these days with their numbers dwindling, they are more and more often being used in the Grand Harbour of Malta ferrying locals and tourists.
